SELF-SERVE DOG WASH
At Diamond Waves and Wags Dog Wash area, we provide a self-serve dog wash bay where you can clean your dog yourself. Please note that we do not have employees available to wash your dog for you. Bring your family along, drive your car through our fantastic car wash, and enjoy the convenience of our user-friendly dog wash area while cleaning your furry friend.
DOG WASH PROGRAMS
After paying the start price you select the program of your choice on the touchscreen, for example “Shampoo”. You pay for the amount of time needed, and you can switch between all programs at any time. For the care of your dog, you can choose different programs.
SHAMPOO
Work through coat by hand Approx. time 2-4 minutes.
RINSE WATER
Use as required Approx. time 1-2 minutes.
CONDITIONER
For a healthy coat Approx. time 1-2 minutes.
ANTI-FLEA/TICK SHAMPOO
Rinse for flea control Approx. time 30-60 seconds.
BLOW DRY LOW
Blow Dry dog’s coat. Approx. time 5 minute
BLOW DRY HIGH
Blow Dry dog’s coat. Approx. time 5 minutes.
DISINFECT TUB
Take dog out of the tub. Rinse out tub for hygienic clean Approx. time 30-60 seconds.
PAUSE / STOP
Push to stop program, time keeps on running.
HOW TO USE THE DOG WASH
Start by placing your dog in the bathing area and secure with the supplied retainers.
Remove lead and collar.
Pay the start price with mobile phone or credit card.
Now press the shampoo button on the touchscreen. Lift the spray nozzle and press the button. Be sure to point the nozzle away from the dog when first starting as the water is heated and needs a few seconds to settle to the right temperature.
Once the water is tepid to warm start to shampoo your dog. Because the water and shampoo are mixed this is much quicker than shampooing at home in the bath or shower.
When you feel that the dog is shampooed sufficiently, press the rinse button and rinse out the shampoo for approximately 1-2 minutes.
After that press you can use apply a conditioner for a healthy coat. And after that as extra the anti-flea/tick shampoo (optional).
Take the drying nozzle and press the drying high button on the touchscreen. If you have a nervous dog, then dry on lower power with the drying low button.
If more time is required there is the opportunity to increase the time by adding money in the 30 seconds after the wash period. There is also a warning buzzer the last 30 seconds of the washing.
